The 15kV 200A pluggable cable connector is a fully insulated, fully sealed, live-touchable plug-in terminal head, widely used in outdoor distribution transformers, American-style prefabricated substations, ring main units, cable branch boxes, underground transformers, and other electrical equipment connections. It is installed on the outgoing side of 200A T-II type cable heads, on 200A busbars, and on single (or double) bushing connectors and load transfer connectors in American-style prefabricated substations. A live-line indicator can be installed at the test point to check the equipment's energized status and to meet line phase verification requirements.
It uses high-quality insulating silicone rubber, and the conductive rod connector has arc-extinguishing material, so it can be operated under energized conditions, but cannot interrupt short-circuit current; it can be used as a load switch to interrupt 200A current.
Suitable for 15kV cross-linked polyethylene cables with cross-sectional areas of 25mm² to 185mm².
