Gas-Insulated (RMU) Type Transformers
Purpose-built current transformer for outdoor pole-mounted switches. It fixes onto the three-phase bushing of an outdoor circuit breaker and provides short-circuit protection, single-grounding (zero-sequence) protection and control-power supply at once. It also fits the three-phase bushing of ring-main-unit incoming and outgoing lines for current measurement, energy metering and microcomputer protection. Widely used on ZW20, ZW27, ZW28 and VSP5 pole-mounted switches, it solves the problem of pole-switch interiors being too narrow to fit a separate zero-sequence transformer. Core and secondary winding are vacuum-cast in high-quality epoxy resin inside a flame-retardant plastic shell — moisture resistant, stable and maintenance free.
The LSY107-10 is a three-phase combined current transformer built for gas-insulated RMU switchgear and pole-mounted switch assemblies.
It provides simultaneous measurement, metering and zero-sequence protection functions from one compact unit, vacuum-cast in epoxy resin.
